Bringing history to life

Image description 4

The Territet – Glion line was built in 1883 and was completely renovated in 1975. It is home to Switzerland's oldest funicular. It is a legacy of the Belle Époque, a period that cemented the reputation of the Vaudois Riviera as a tourist destination.

Climb aboard at Territet and spend a few hours experiencing the life of an English lord or lady on holiday. Enjoy the view down over Lake Geneva while sipping tea on the terrace of the famous Glion hotel. The Territet – Glion funicular railway combines British reserve with the beauty of a magnificent landscape.
