Take the funicular, climb for 11 minutes and discover the beauty of the area at your leisure. It leaves from Vevey, travels through the Lavaux, which is a vineyard listed as a World Heritage site, to reach the picturesque winegrower’s village of Chardonne. From there, passing through green forests and meadows, it arrives at the foothills of Mont Pèlerin.

From the shores of Lake Geneva, one can see the antenna of the tower located at the summit. This 130 m. high structure is called « Plein Ciel » and can easily be reached from the upper station of the funicular, which is situated at an altitude of 810 m. If you would like to climb even higher, a lift is available to reach the 65m. high panoramic platform (open from Easter to October). What a view over Lake Geneva and the surrounding mountains and valleys! |
