| Territet – Glion |
| |
|
The oldest funicular in Switzerland built in 1883. It was the former Rochers-de-Naye line. In Glion, the Hôtel Victoria witnessed the first years of tourism, when affluent British people used to come here to have a good time. Nowadays, you can sit and admire the view from the hotel terrace just as the lords and ladies used to in days gone by.
The lower station of the funicular is located just outside Montreux town centre. It can easily be reached by train, bus or even by boat.
