The “Astro-Pléiades” discovery trail will get you closer to the stars than any other viewpoint… but the altitude has little to do with it! It is nothing in comparison with the Universe. You have hardly got off the train and are already on the educational trail made up of four stages. While strolling along, you will discover phenomena taking place in space, millions of light years away from one other. Using the Earth as a departure point, the trail will take you through astronomical observations, towards the solar system and then onto the fixed stars to finish with faraway galaxies and even extra-galaxies.
But you haven’t even left the Earth yet! You are at the Pléiades! If you wish to extend your flight through space and to learn more about our universe, follow the Claude Nicollier trail to walk back down to Blonay. There will be plenty more for you to learn that will amaze you.
