The charming coaches with panoramic windows depart from platform 7 of the Vevey railway station. The “Train des Etoiles” climbs steeply, which is why it uses the cog system for some parts on the journey.
For approximately forty minutes, the train snakes its way through the Vevey heights towards Blonay and then continues to Les Pléiades situated at an altitude of 1,348 m. From time to time, you will catch sight of Lake Geneva gradually disappearing on the plain below. Trains run hourly according to the same schedule.
